As of Oct 1, 2026, GitHub lets developers define an AI agent's workflow in code through dynamic workflows.
In GitHub Copilot CLI, developers can define orchestration—the sequence of an agent's work—in code. Dynamic workflows are also available in the GitHub Copilot app.
GitHub also added dynamic workflows to the Copilot SDK for integration into custom applications.
