Muse builds profiles of people close to you: Meta's agent remembers details about friends
Muse's tasks also involve people close to you: the agent remembers details about them to use in future tasks.

Muse remembers friends' dietary restrictions and takes them into account when organizing dinner. Meta described this scenario on Sep 8, 2026.
Memory is editable. Information is saved in Memory files that you can read and edit. According to Meta's instructions, you can ask the agent to forget specific information, disconnect linked services and prevent your interactions from being used to train models. Clicking the avatar opens a log of actions and approved permissions.
Muse works as an AI agent: it plans its own steps, calls tools and carries out tasks. It has a file system, a terminal and a browser. It writes code and creates documents, PDFs and interactive web pages.
From search to action. In a Sep 28 review, Lance Ulanoff connected Muse to his personal Gmail: the agent found 3 emails that needed attention. Muse then drafted a reply to a PR representative and sent it after Ulanoff's edits.
Meta launched Muse on Sep 8. You can chat with it in the app, at muse.ai and through WhatsApp. The official download page offers apps for macOS, iPhone and Android.
Availability and pricing as of Sep 29:
- Meta listed availability in the US and Canada. - According to Axios, most tasks can be completed for free. - Paid subscriptions cost $20 and $100 per month.
Meta already links Muse's memory to everyday tasks, including organizing dinner for friends.
