Third-party Midjourney MCP servers work by connecting someone else's account or through paid relays. This official test from the company itself works differently.
MCP is a protocol that lets an AI agent connect to an external service. For an artist, that means Midjourney generation can be called from an agent. The announcement does not name the test duration, the number of spots or the price.
The test is closed, and the announcement does not promise open access.
