The workplace moves into ChatGPT: OpenAI launches Space for teams
On Sep 29, OpenAI launched Space inside ChatGPT: the service is described as a place to work with colleagues and their Dots. Dan Shipper compared it to Notion and Google Drive in one app.
OpenAI previously experimented with Canvas. Now ChatGPT gets a dedicated collaboration space that Shipper is ready to use all the time.
A blow to the niche. Shipper is building Proof, an agentic document editor. In his view, Space makes the product irrelevant.
