Higgsfield (also written Higgsfield in Russian) is a paid site where you create videos and images from descriptions using a dozen AI models at once, both its own and third-party ones. It includes Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, and Seedance 2.5, plus its own tools: a film studio with camera movements, an ad factory with templates, and an agent you give tasks to in chat. You describe a scene, choose a model, see the credit price right on the button, and click. The San Francisco company was founded by people from Kazakhstan; it has no apps, only a browser version. This card covers what it can do, what it costs, how to pay from Russia, and how it differs from Kling.
1. Should you get it
There are two things to consider: how you will pay and whether you need one model or a selection of them.
Of six common requests from Russia, three run into checkout, apps, and language, while images, a free trial, and connection to Claude are available.
What people want from Higgsfield
Search volume - Wordstat, Russia region, 06.09.2026
Who it is for. For those who make videos for clients or ads and want to try Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 with one account, without signing up for four subscriptions. On top of the models are a cinema studio with camera movements, an ad factory with templates, and a character that keeps one face across every shot.
Who else. For those who work through agents: since 08.05.2026, Higgsfield connects to Claude and Cursor via MCP and makes images and videos using subscription credits directly from chat. And for those who need rights to the result for a client: commercial use is allowed on every paid plan without a separate license.
Who it is not for. For those with only a Russian card: checkout runs through Stripe, the vendor does not accept Mir cards, and Russian Visa and Mastercard cards are declined according to practitioner reports from 2026. And for those who expect speed from the word "unlimited": unlimited generations go into a separate slow 1K or 2K queue, while MCP, CLI, Canvas, and plugins always deduct credits.
It's a fit: section 3 takes you from sign-in to your first video. If you are choosing between it and Kling, see the fork in section 7.
2. What Higgsfield can do
Three layers: third-party models under one subscription, proprietary tools on top, and external access through agents, plugins, and API.
Models. The vendor's public API description as of 06.09.2026 lists 9 proprietary endpoints and 41 third-party ones from nine companies. The third-party models use their own names: video comes from Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, Kling 3.0, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and Wan; images come from Nano Banana, Flux 2, Seedream 5, and GPT Image 2. Its own three are Soul for images, DoP for turning an image into a 3- or 5-second clip, and Popcorn for storyboards of up to eight frames. The vendor does not say whether they were trained from scratch.
Cinema Studio. A director's workspace: storyboard scenes, camera-movement presets, a character with an emotion, and clip duration. Version 4.0 from 12.08.2026 offers clips up to 30 seconds, up to 50 references per generation, over 30 movement presets, and four camera types. The product started with camera-movement presets: the Camera Controls page promises over 50 cinematic presets.
Marketing Studio. An ad factory: choose from over 1,500 templates, upload a product photo or website link, and get a finished video for Meta and Google formats without a prompt. It includes a virality predictor, and the vendor itself says it is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Soul and characters. Soul creates fashion-shoot-style images; Soul 2.0 since February 2026 offers 1.5K or 2K quality and batches of up to four images. Soul ID keeps one face across every shot: it is trained on 20-80 photos of a person. Since 31.08.2026, Genjutsu transfers motion from another video and changes the subject in the frame without reshooting.
Agent and external access. Supercomputer takes a task in chat, chooses models itself, and can connect to Telegram, Slack, and Google Drive. Via MCP, the same account works from Claude and Cursor; via plugins, from Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Blender; and API gives developers the same models. Everyone shares one wallet, and unlimited does not apply there.
What the vendor itself shows. The header video and screenshot above come from the official Cinema Studio 2.0 video dated 17.02.2026: since then, the studio has grown to version 4.0, while the screenshot navigation has twelve sections. Russian voice-over and translation of finished videos work, according to a Skillbox practitioner on 13.05.2026, while prompts in Russian-language tutorials are written in English. We have not run Higgsfield for this task ourselves; the figures come from the storefront, documentation, terms, and third-party tests.
3. Where it works and how to start
You can start on the website without installing anything; it opens from Russia, and payment is the only place you will stumble.
Available from Russia. A test on 06.09.2026 from Moscow and St Petersburg nodes returned code 200 for the homepage, pricing page, and workspace, while the same Moscow node could not open Instagram or LinkedIn at the same minute. The address is absent from the registry of prohibited domains, and sign-in has no country restrictions. You do not need to change a Russian IP address to a foreign one.
Step 1. Open higgsfield.ai and sign in with Google, Apple, GitHub, Microsoft, or an email and password. No phone number is required, and disposable email addresses are not accepted.
Step 2. Choose Image or Video mode, describe the scene in English, choose a model, and check the button: the generation price in credits is written right on it. A free account gives you a daily allotment of credits and a watermark on every result.
Step 3. For watermark-free work and commercial rights, you need a paid plan, and checkout accepts only foreign cards and Apple Pay: from Russia international payment required or an intermediary with a fee.
Surfaces. Browser only, on desktop and phone; the vendor states this directly in its documentation dated 05.09.2026. There are no apps, and everything listed under this name in the App Store, Google Play, and RuStore is made by other developers. The interface is available in English, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean, but not Russian.
Outside. The same account connects to Claude and Cursor via MCP using your account without a key; to Claude Code and Codex via CLI with the command npx skills add higgsfield-ai/skills; and to Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Blender via plugins. All of this uses subscription credits; unlimited does not work outside the site.
Steps verified on 06.09.2026 using the live higgsfield.ai storefront, sign-in configuration, vendor documentation, and HTTP tests from Russian nodes
4. What the tests show
There are no independent quality measurements for Higgsfield: as of 06.09.2026, its models were listed in neither Artificial Analysis nor LMArena, the two main video and image arenas, so there will be no claim of "best" here.
Arenas. Neither Soul nor DoP appears in Artificial Analysis or LMArena, while Kling, Veo, and Seedance appear in the same tables. Models ranked highly in arenas are available inside Higgsfield, while Higgsfield itself is not listed in arenas. Arenas measure base models submitted by their vendors, while Higgsfield sells a storefront on top of third-party models.
Vendor measurements. The company publishes its own video-model comparisons, the latest dated 30.08.2026, and claims $700 million in annual revenue, 30 million users in 238 countries, and 390 Fortune 500 customers (press release, 17.08.2026). These figures have no independent verification; as of 06.09.2026, the "About" page still lists 25 million users and a $1.3 billion valuation.
What is known about the scale
Demand. "Higgsfield" gets 12.6 thousand searches per month, the one-g transliteration "khigsfild" gets another 5.8 thousand, and "khiggsfild" only 633 (Wordstat, 06.09.2026). The main cluster of long-tail queries is about subscriptions and payment, while paired searches for "higgsfield or X" do not exist at all: in Russia, people are still discovering it rather than comparing it. Its place among video tools is shown below the card title; the full tool ranking is on the general page.
5. How much it costs
Entry costs $19 per month for 270 credits, while "unlimited" on the storefront means a slow queue and only on the website.
Credits. Each generation costs credits depending on the model, resolution, and duration; the exact price is written on the button before you click. According to billing prices dated 06.09.2026, five seconds of Kling 3.0 in 720p cost about 7 credits, Seedance 2.0 in 1080p about 45, in 4K about 110, a Nano Banana Pro image 2 credits, and a Soul 2.0 image just 0.12. Plan credits expire every month; additional credits cost $0.08 per credit and are more expensive than any plan.
Plans. According to the US storefront on 06.09.2026: Starter is $19 for 270 credits, Plus $59 for 1,200, and Ultra $129 for 3,000, before tax. The storefront opens to annual billing by default and says "$47 per month" for Plus, although the payment is one $564 charge, while annual Starter billing is no cheaper than monthly. Starter does not include Seedance 2.5, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, or Kling 3.0 in 1080p and 4K; those require Plus.
Price by country. Before displaying plans, the storefront asks the server for the visitor's pricing cohort, and as of 06.09.2026 the vendor had three price sets active at once: the entry plan for $19, $15, and $9. A new visitor from the US saw $19; it was not possible to check which set a visitor from Russia sees.
Unlimited. On Plus and Ultra, some models are marked "unlimited": those generations are free, but use a separate queue, only in 1K or 2K, and one task at a time. Older models have unlimited access for a year, new flagships for 7 days, while credits are always deducted through MCP, CLI, Canvas, Supercomputer, Studio, and plugins. Need speed? Pay with credits, as the vendor itself advises.
Free. A free account has zero included credits; the vendor provides a daily allowance but does not publish the amount, which was 5 credits per day in 2025. Every free generation carries a watermark and does not allow commercial use. Trial days are shown on the storefront, but both require a card and automatically convert into a paid plan.
Paying from Russia. Checkout runs through Stripe; the vendor lists Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, and Apple Pay, but Mir cards are not listed, and Russian Visa and Mastercard cards are declined according to reports from practitioners in 2026. Intermediaries charge a fee of 350 to 1 050 ₽ based on the amount or add 5–20 %; a Habr practitioner on 21.05.2026 estimated the markup at 10–30 % and warned that the account may be revoked. The vendor only offers a refund in the first 7 days, and only if credits have not been used.

6. Can Higgsfield be trusted
Three questions: who owns these videos, what the vendor does with your materials, and what happened in winter 2026.
Whose videos. Under the vendor's terms, you own the rights to the output: the company does not claim them, does not restrict commercial use, and the rights remain after you cancel the subscription; you can transfer them to clients. Two caveats: commercial use is blocked by the plan terms on the free tier, and uniqueness is not guaranteed, as another user may get a similar result. Legal protection from third-party claims is available only with Enterprise.
Your materials. By default, uploaded and generated content is used to train the vendor's models; this can only be stopped by deleting the content or account, with an exception for Enterprise. On the free plan, every generation has a visible watermark, while on all plans the vendor may embed invisible provenance markers under the C2PA standard and does not guarantee that a marker will remain in every file.
Who owns what at each tier
Faces and biometrics. Soul ID is trained on 20–80 photos of one person, and the vendor's terms separately address biometrics: face and voice prints, with notice for residents of Illinois, Texas, Washington, and the EEA. The filter rejects adult content and third-party intellectual property; no API credits are deducted for such a rejection.
Winter 2026. Forbes on 11.02.2026 described racist promotional videos in the company's media kit, unauthorized deepfakes of Sydney Sweeney, Zendaya, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk, and creators' complaints about unpaid compensation. The CEO acknowledged: "internal processes and external communications did not always keep pace with our values, and we made mistakes." After Black Friday's promised unlimited access, users complained of slower speeds; the vendor refunded about $1,35 million and explained account blocks as protection against bots and suspicious payments.
After the scandal. In August 2026, the company released the feature-length "The Cully Hill Boys" using licensed likenesses of fighters Adesanya and Jackson and streamer N3on, and opened the production files. As of 06.09.2026, its only lawsuit in US federal courts was filed on 03.09.2026 in New York and concerns website accessibility for blind people; there are no cases over rights or deepfakes.
Data and law. Agreement governed by California law with mandatory arbitration and a class-action waiver, court in San Francisco, age 18+. The terms were updated on 26.07.2026 and apply to everyone from 27.08.2026; they do not mention Russia. The service goes down: a third-party tracker showed at least ten outages from 19–31.08.2026, the vendor acknowledged none, and its status page has an empty incident feed.

7. Or Kling
The choice is not about video quality, it is identical on the same model, but about what you pay for: the model directly or a pipeline where that same model is one of a dozen.
Kling. A Chinese video model with its own website: the entry plan is $10 a month for 660 credits and free daily credits, while Kling 3.0 itself has been available inside Higgsfield since 12.02.2026. Choose Kling if you need one powerful model for less; choose Higgsfield if you want to switch between Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and Seedance 2.5 in one window and need a film studio, ad factory, and agent. According to the Kling card in our catalog, its website is accessible from Russia for both, but payment must go through an intermediary.
Runway. The main target of Higgsfield's own blog: Runway has its own Gen-4.5 model and an entry plan of $15 for 625 credits, while the press places both companies side by side in enterprise production. The axis is the same: an in-house model versus a storefront of others'.
Sora. Listed as a closed product in our catalog, while the Sora 2 model has been available inside Higgsfield from the Plus plan as of 06.09.2026: the storefront sells what OpenAI itself no longer offers separately. The featured product has no Russian peer with a full card: in the Russian video-generator review of 19.03.2026, the only product from Russia alongside it is Kandinsky, and there are no paired queries in Yandex at all.
What to choose for the task

8. History
Over a year and a half, the platform went from camera-motion presets to a valuation of 5.4 billion $, with a scandal, two feature films, and two new modes in one week at the turn of August and September in between.
03.04
The company emerges from stealth: an $8 million seed round from Menlo Ventures and its first Diffuse app, which created a clip with a person from their selfie.
05.08
Premiere of the feature film "The Cully Hill Boys" in New York, using licensed digital twins of fighters Adesanya and Jackson and streamer N3on.
12.08
Cinema Studio 4.0: clips up to 30 seconds, up to 50 references, a director's panel with character emotions.
17.08
$400 million Series B at a $5.4 billion valuation led by DST Global; Natalia Vodianova joins the round. The company reports $700 million in annual revenue and 30 million users.
31.08

05.09
3D Jutsu mode: an editable 3D scene from a description, with an agent powered by GPT-6 Astra inside.
9. Frequently asked questions
What is Higgsfield in simple terms?+
A paid site for generating videos and images, with third-party top models (Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Nano Banana) under one subscription alongside its own tools: Cinema Studio, the Marketing Studio ad factory, the Soul image model, and the Supercomputer agent. A San Francisco company founded in 2023 by people from Kazakhstan, the platform launched in April 2025. It works only in a browser at higgsfield.ai.
Is Higgsfield free?+
Almost not. There is a free account, but it includes zero plan credits; the vendor provides a daily allotment of free credits but does not publish its size. Every free generation has a watermark and no commercial-use rights, and tasks run one at a time. A usable entry point starts with the Starter plan at $19 per month (US storefront, 06.09.2026).
How much does a Higgsfield subscription cost?+
According to the US storefront on 06.09.2026: Starter is $19 per month for 270 credits, Plus is $59 for 1 200, and Ultra is $129 for 3 000, before tax. With annual billing, Plus costs $564 upfront, displayed as “$47 per month,” while annual Starter billing is no cheaper. The vendor shows some visitors different price sets, with the lowest plan at $9 or $15: the selection depends on the visitor's country.
How do you pay for Higgsfield from Russia?+
You cannot pay directly with a Russian card: the vendor's checkout uses Stripe, and payment options include Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, and Apple Pay, but not Mir; Russian Visa and Mastercard cards are declined according to 2026 user reports. You need a foreign card or an intermediary that charges from 350 to 1 050 ₽ or 5–20 % of the amount. General ways to pay for foreign services are collected on the “How to pay for AI from Russia” page.
Does Higgsfield work from Russia?+
Yes, the site opens. A test on 06.09.2026 from Moscow and St. Petersburg nodes returned code 200 for the homepage, pricing page, and workspace, while the same Moscow node could not open Instagram or LinkedIn at that same minute. higgsfield.ai is not in the blocked-domain registry, and sign-in does not require a phone number. There is one barrier: payment.
Is there a Higgsfield app for phone or computer?+
No. The vendor states this directly in its help center on 05.09.2026: there are neither mobile nor desktop apps; the platform works in a browser on any device. Everything listed under this name in the App Store, Google Play, and RuStore is made by other developers, and the vendor calls such programs copies.
Is Higgsfield available in Russian?+
There is no Russian interface: the site is available in English, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean, while higgsfield.ai/ru returns a 404 error. Russian voiceover and translation of finished videos work, according to a Skillbox practitioner on 13.05.2026 and the language list in the storefront code, but the vendor's help center does not name Russian specifically. The vendor does not promise Russian-language prompting; Russian tutorials write prompts in English.
What are Higgsfield Soul and Soul ID?+
Soul is the vendor's own image model, launched on 25.06.2025 for fashion shoots and advertising; Soul 2.0 arrived in February 2026 and delivers 1,5K or 2K quality. Soul ID keeps one face consistent across all images and is trained on 20–80 photos of a person. The vendor has three proprietary models: Soul for images, DoP for animating images, and Popcorn for storyboards.
What is Higgsfield MCP and what is it for?+
It is a connection to Claude and other agents: you ask for an image or video in chat, and Higgsfield generates it using credits from your subscription, with no API key required. Launched on 08.05.2026, it requires a paid plan. The main caveat: unlimited generations through MCP do not work; credits are always deducted.
Who owns Higgsfield?+
An American company: Higgsfield is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2023. Its co-founders are from Kazakhstan: CEO Alex Mashrabov, whose previous startup AI Factory was acquired by Snap in late 2019, and CTO Erzatt Dulat; a third co-founder named in the 2025 release is Mahi de Silva. In August 2026, the company raised $400 million at a $5,4 billion valuation, with Natalia Vodianova joining the round.
Who owns videos made in Higgsfield?+
You do: under the vendor's terms, the company does not claim rights or restrict commercial use, and the rights remain with you after you cancel your subscription. Two limits apply: on the free plan, commercial use is prohibited by the plan terms, and uniqueness is not guaranteed, so another user may get something similar. Your materials are used to train the vendor's models by default; an opt-out is available only for Enterprise.
Why does Higgsfield not work, and what were the August 7 outages?+
The service goes down regularly: third-party tracker StatusGator showed at least ten outages from August 19 to 31, 2026, the vendor acknowledged none of them, and its status page has an empty incident feed. On August 7, 2026, users widely reported that it was unavailable, but the company did not acknowledge the incident. Russian DownRadar counted 212 reports in the 30 days before 06.09.2026, all about service outages, not blocking from Russia.
Higgsfield or Kling?+
Kling, if you need one model for $10 per month with 660 credits and its own site with free daily credits. Higgsfield, if you want to try different models, including Kling 3.0 itself, and need a film studio, ad factory, and agent. Video quality is the same on the same model; you pay for the workflow around it. The choice is covered in section 7.
