My AI stack in 2026
This is not an objective market ranking, but my current working set: what I actually use for code, content, design, strategy, and life.
The order within each block - is also part of the point: higher up are the tools I currently consider more important and use more often in my work.
I. Models
LLM for code
GPT 5.6 Sol Extra High - 80% of code.
Fable 5 High - 15% of code.
Gemini 3.1 Pro High - 5% of code.
LLM for chatting
Gemini 3.1 Pro - for psychological conversations, chats about life, and long-term strategy.
GPT 5.6 Sol Extra High - strictly through the Codex interface; this is for business.
GPT-5.6 (Pro subscription) - through the ChatGPT interface on a Pro subscription. Gives well-thought-out long answers, but loves to get preachy.
Claude Opus 4.8 - if the first two hit their limits.
II. Apps
Code
Codex - desktop app; I do 80% of tasks with it.
Claude Code - if I want something long and for it not to stop, but code for a long, long time.
Cursor - my default IDE when I need to dig into code and work with Git.
Antigravity - strictly for design tasks, don't touch it for anything else.
Chatbot
Google AI Studio - main interface for Gemini.
ChatGPT - on GPT-5.6 (Pro subscription).
Design
Google AI Studio - image generation.
Figma - well, Figma is Figma.
Recraft - a decent AI editor for assorted tasks.
Voice-to-text
Wispr Flow* - voice dictation into any app; so I type less.
